Grant W. Parsons
Grant Parsons grew up in Traverse City, where he learned first-hand about personal injury law as a result of being seriously hurt in a construction accident. He later attended the University of Michigan, graduated with honors, and then graduated from the U of M Law School.
Grant’s first job in law was as a research clerk with Hon. Richard A. Enslen, a brilliant federal judge known for his strong Constitutional values. This experience deepened Grant’s belief in victims’ rights and a lawyer’s duty to seek justice.
In 1985, Grant and his wife, Paulette, returned to Northern Michigan where he has exclusively represented plaintiffs in the fields of personal injury, civil rights, and employment law. In addition to his personal injury practice, he has tried cases of public interest including whistleblower protection, child abuse, governmental misconduct, defamation, and workplace discrimination.
Grant has received national recognition from Martindale-Hubbell (highest “AV” ranking for legal skill and ethics) and has been inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has served on numerous community Boards, and has been admitted to State and Federal courts. He founded the firm on the principles of personal courage and commitment, client communication, and staff excellence. As a former English student, he is fascinated by the richness of the personal stories that surrounds each case.
