Jennifer R. Berry
Jen Berry is a native of Traverse City and an expert outdoors enthusiast. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology from the University of Tampa. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 2004.
Jen’s interest in personal injury trial practice started in law school, where she won the prestigious “Book Award” for torts and was a member of the Moot court Honor Society. She was also elected President of the Environmental Law Society, and was active in the Public Interest Law Society.
Outside her personal injury law practice, Jen maintains a deep commitment to issues of social justice. She volunteers for pro bono work through the courts, the Women’s Resource Center, Third Level Crisis Intervention Center, and Big Brothers and Sisters. She is an avid climber who has taught high ropes and rock climbing courses.
Jen was the 2008 President of the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association.
